We Distribute Narcan

Fentanyl Test Strips Coming Soon!

In partnership with Nevada County Public Health, as part of a widespread county campaign, we offer Narcan, also known as Naloxone. This opioid overdose reversal drug can save the life of someone experiencing overdose from opioids. Every day, 128 people lose their life in the U.S from opioid overdose. It is critical people have easy access and know how to administer this lifesaving medication. As a community, we can prevent as many fatal overdoses as possible.

SPRING 2023 MBSAT COHORT - T/TH 3:30 - 5:30; APRIL 11 - JUNE 1

Our 12-module program looks at the underlying causes of disconnection and addresses: addiction – screen-time – emotional and behavioral patterns - risky behavior, or just getting stuck in bad habits. We have evolved the evidence based, humanistic, and fun approach of Mindfulness-Based Substance Abuse Treatment (MBSAT) to embed a deeper exploration of:

Flow State Cycles ~ with the sign-posts of embodied peak experience and healthy psychological functioning
Triggers / Needs / Boundaries ~ identifying and protecting what we are saying YES to
A Vestibular and Proprioceptive Approach ~ to practice and to developing our sense of self
Brain Chemistry ~ An understanding of the specific neurotransmitters to we want to boost, with a “how to” worksheet

We teach adolescents how to self-regulate while navigating the challenging influences of family, peer, and societal impacts. In learning both these vital Social and Emotional skills and physiological choice points, youth gain self-awareness, heal their nervous systems, and learn how to make decisions they won’t regret.
