A comfortable, enriching and safe space for teens to hang out or decompress, connect with like-minded peers, take a class, make some art, do homework, or grab a snack. A place where young people can hold different views and engage in dialogue that supports perspective-taking.

It’s a wide, dynamic range of offerings at the Center, that includes connecting with caring, skilled adults; art-making, as well as storytelling through use of the Center’s digital media lab; sensory and proprioceptive training; therapeutic and recovery services; climbing, skiing, snowboarding, adventure outings; vocational skill building; and peer support.
Specific Programs
Connect Groups — Drop-in peer-led recovery and support circles, Tuesdays, 3 - 4:30 pm.
Mindfulness, Addiction, Self-Knowledge (MASK / MBSAT) — Our highly effective recovery treatment program, blends the best of our Four Roots Method for Growing a Human with Mindfulness-based Substance Use Treatment (MBSAT).
Healing Intensive based on our 4Roots Method — Rapid response, immediate and short-term support, coaching, and co-created wellness plans, for young people, their care-givers, parents, and families.
Classes and Workshops — Seasonally rotating, for teens, family education, or faculty support. Customized support available.
Basecamp for Adventure — Weekly adventure outings featuring climbing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.
